The drawer keeps what the shelf cannot hold yet.

These are not filler posts. They are filed pressure: standalone cases, notices, publication fragments, and small dark things that do not borrow from the books.

Late
Files
From the author desk

Horror starts before the book.

Sometimes it starts as a notice. A line that stays in the room. A shelf left empty on purpose. The Late Files are where standalone cases arrive without borrowing from the book room.

This is the public desk for standalone investigations, murder mysteries, horror articles, and publication notes from the darker side of my work. The files do not spoil the books. They keep their own locked cabinet.
